HBOT in Berlin

Berlin has a handful of dedicated hyperbaric oxygen clinics, mostly serving recovery, longevity, post-stroke and sports-medicine patients. Three are medical-grade (above 2.0 ATA, multi-place chambers), the rest are mild-HBOT (1.5 ATA, soft chambers). The medical clinics tend to cluster around Charlottenburg and Mitte; mild HBOT shows up more in Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg longevity-positioned spaces.

Pricing: €100–180 per session for medical HBOT, €70–120 for mild HBOT, with significant package discounts for the 20- and 40-session protocols typical for neurological and longevity research. PKV (private health insurance) coverage exists for specific medical indications — chronic wound healing, sudden hearing loss, decompression injury — but is rare for elective recovery use.

When choosing: ask about chamber type (mono- vs multi-place changes the safety and experience profile), maximum pressure rating, medical staff on-site during sessions, and whether they'll review your medical history before booking. Berlin's better clinics will say no to certain candidates (uncontrolled hypertension, untreated pneumothorax, certain cancers) — that's a good sign, not a bad one.
